Xplore only asks for specific types of personal information
"Personal Information" means any information that may be used to identify an individual, including, but not limited to, first and last name, home or other physical address, an email address, phone number, or other contact information, whether at work or at home. In a few areas on our website and online customer support tools, we ask you to provide Personal Information that will enable us to enhance your site visit, to assist you with technical support issues, respond to your request, communicate with you, improve our products or services, or to follow up with you after your visit. It is completely optional for you to participate.

What Personal Information Does Xplore Gather?
The information we learn from customers helps us personalize and continually improve your experience with Xplore’s website. Some of the types of information we gather are listed below:
Information You Give Us: We receive and store any information you enter on our website or give us in any other way.You can choose not to provide certain information, but then you might not be able to take advantage of many of our features.
Automatic Information: We receive and store certain types of information whenever you interact with us. For example, like many websites, we use "cookies" (described further below), and we obtain certain types of information when your Web browser accesses our website, advertisements or other content served by or on behalf of Xplore on other websites.
Mobile: When you download or use apps that we or our subsidiaries or related companies create, we may receive information about your location and your mobile device, including a unique identifier for your device. Most mobile devices allow you to turn off location services.
Email Communications: We often receive a confirmation when you open email from us, particularly if your computer supports such capabilities. For example, you provide information when you search for a product; place an order through Xplore or one of our third-party sellers; provide information in your account (you may have more than one if you have used more than one email address when shopping with us); communicate with us by phone, email, or by other means; complete a questionnaire or a contest entry form; use our services; participate in discussion boards or other community features; or provide and rate review. As a result of those actions, you might supply us with such information as your name, address, and phone numbers; credit card information; people to whom purchases have been shipped, including addresses and phone number; people (with addresses and phone numbers) listed; email addresses of your friends and other people; content of reviews and emails to us; personal description and photograph; and financial information, including Social Security and driver's license numbers.
Most mobile devices provide users with the ability to disable location services, which is generally located in the device's “settings” menu. If you have questions about how to disable your device's location services, we recommend you contact your mobile service carrier or your device manufacturer.
Information from Other Sources

Co-branded and Joint Offerings
Examples of businesses with which we offer joint or co-branded products and other offerings include co-branded email or collateral communications featuring promotional events or product information.
Information You Can Access
Examples of information you can access easily at Xplore include up-to-date information regarding recent orders; personally identifiable information (including name, email, password, communications and personalized advertising preferences); payment settings (including credit card information); email notification settings; recommendations; shopping lists; seller accounts; and your profile.
"Do Not Track" Settings
Some web browsers have settings that enable you to request that our website does not track your movement within our website. Our website does not obey such settings when transmitted to and detected by our website.
Cookies are unique identifiers that we transfer to your device to enable our systems to recognize your device and to provide features offered on our website, personalized advertisements on other websites, storage of items in your shopping cart between visits, and/or transferred to third parties for marketing purposes, including online behavioral advertising purposes.

Does Xplore Share the Information It Receives?
Affiliated Businesses We Do Not Control: We work closely with affiliated businesses. In some cases, such as marketplace sellers, value-added resellers, distributors and OEM partners, these businesses operate stores or sell Xplore products. Some of our partners may also offer co-branded and/or joint offerings. If a third party is involved in your transactions, we share customer information related to those transactions with that third party.
Third-Party Service Providers: We employ other companies and individuals to perform functions on our behalf. Examples include fulfilling orders, delivering packages, sending postal mail and email, removing repetitive information from customer lists, analyzing data, providing marketing assistance, providing search results and links (including paid listings and links), processing credit card payments, and providing customer service. These third party providers have access to personal information needed to perform their functions, but they may not use it for other purposes.
Promotional Offers: Sometimes we send offers to selected groups of Xplore customers on behalf of other businesses. When we do this, we do not give that business your name and address. That said, Xplore complies with the federal CAN-SPAM Act, so if you do not want to receive such offers, please adjust your customer communication preferences or contact Xplore as indicated below.
With Your Consent: Other than as set out above, you will receive notice when information about you might go to third parties, and you will have an opportunity to choose not to share the information.
How Secure Is Your Information?
We work to protect the security of your information during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts information you input.
We reveal only the last four digits of your credit card numbers when confirming an order. Of course, we transmit the entire credit card number to the appropriate credit card company during order processing.
It is important for you to protect against unauthorized access to your password and to your computer. Be sure to sign off when finished using a shared computer.

Xplore gives you access to a broad range of information about your account and your interactions with Xplore including purchasing, support and communication subscription information, for the limited purpose of viewing and, in certain cases, updating that information

As discussed above, you can decide not to provide information, although it might be needed to make a purchase or to take advantage of some features of the Xplore website.
You can add or update certain information on pages referenced in the section above.When you update information, we usually keep a copy of the prior version for our records.
If you do not want us to use personal information that we gather to allow third parties to personalize advertisements we display to you, please adjust your advertising preferences as described above.
Are Children Allowed to Use Our Website?
Xplore does not sell products for purchase by children. If you are under 18, you may use Xplore only with the involvement of a parent or guardian. Any person who provides his or her information to Xplore through the account login page for new customers or any other part of the website represents to Xplore that they are 13 years of age or older.
