Thank you for purchasing your Motion Computing Tablet with the Novatel Wireless Wide Area Networking adapter.

A mobile broadband connection manager, and active mobile broadband service with SIM card is required to operate your tablet on the mobile broadband network.

Please perform the steps below to enable your tablet to operate on the mobile broadband network:

Step 1: Download and install the Novatel Wireless MobiLink Connection Manager.

Step 2: Obtain an active account and SIM card from your local mobile broadband network provider.

Step 3: Consult the User Guide for your model Tablet PC for instructions on installing the SIM card.

Step 4: Open and Configure the MobiLink Connection Manager, and connect to your mobile broadband network.

Step 1: Download and install the Novatel Wireless Connection Manager

To install the Sierra Wireless connection manager software, please perform the following steps:

1. Go to Motion support driver page: http://www.motioncomputing.com/support/driver_download.asp.
2. Select your Motion Tablet PC model and operating system.
3. Select the latest Novatel Wireless - MobiLink WWAN Software and click "Save" to download the software file to the directory of your choice.
4. Unzip the file to a location on your local drive.
5. Double-click MobiLink_x.xx.xxx.exe and follow the prompts.

Step 4: Configure the MobiLink Connection Manager, and connect to your mobile broadband network

A. Double-click the Desktop icon for the MobiLink Connection Manager

B. Alternately you can run the program from Start > Programs > Novatel Wireless > MobiLink

C. Click on the Menu icon at the top left corner

D. Select Profile Manager from the drop down menu

E. Select New to create a profile for your mobile broadband network

F. Enter a Profile Name (anything you like) and APN (received from your network provider), then click Next

G. Enter the Username and Password (twice) received from your network provider, then click Finish

H. Select if you would like to set the new profile as default

I. Then click OK to complete the process

J. Select your network profile from the profile drop down menu

K. Click Connect to connect to the mobile broadband network
