Thank you for purchasing your Motion Computing Tablet with the mobile broadband and GPS module.
To use mobile broadband and GPS network connections with your Motion Computing Tablet, you use the Connection Manager application.
For some Motion Computing tablets, the Connection Manager is already installed on your computer. For others, you must download the Connection Manager from our corporate web site. When installed, the Motion Computing Connection Manager appears on the Windows Start menu, for example:
You must set up the Connection Manager before you can use your mobile broadband network or GPS capabilities. To do so, perform the following steps:
Step 1: Download the Connection Manager if it is not installed on your tablet.
Step 2: Start the Connection Manager.
Step 3: Set up mobile broadband if you have an account with a mobile broadband network.
Step 4: Set up GPS. You do not need a mobile broadband account to use the tablet's GPS feature.
You must download the Motion Connection Manager if it does not appear from the Windows Start menu.

You start the Connection Manager from the Windows Start menu.

Before you can use the mobile broadband module installed on your tablet, you need to set up the Connection Manager with the information about your mobile broadband network carrier. To do so, refer to the instructions in the Connection Manager help.

The mobile broadband module comes with GPS capabilities which you can use with your preferred GPS applications, for example, navigation or mapping software. You enable and start GPS from the Connection Manager.
