Computers are a main contributor to electronic waste which poses a major disposal issue due to the various components that are toxic to the environment. Motion Computing has a recycling program that allows free return of all Motion branded products for processing and disposal in an environmentally safe manner. Donate Your Motion Tablet PC

Goodwill Industries encourages businesses, as well as individuals to donate their used computers. But there are some things you should know to make the donation process a smooth one and, most importantly, protect yourself from identity theft.

Be sure to check with your local Goodwill to find out if computer donations are accepted. To protect your privacy, Goodwill recommends that donors remove all data from a computer hard drive before donating a computer, with the exception of the operating system.

Motion Recycling Program

Recycle Your Motion Tablet PC

Motion Computing has partnered with TechTurn, a trusted industry leader for technology recovery, refurbishing and disposal, for the recycling of unwanted equipment.
Ccustomers may contact Motion Customer Care at 866-622-7340 for instructions on the free recycling program (Note: Only Motion branded equipment qualifies for free recycling).

Recycling Process Overview:

  • Customer contacts Motion Customer Care at 866-622-7340 with recycling request.
  • Motion Customer Care will contact TechTurn to initiate equipment pickup.
  • The customer may return 1-9 pieces per request.
  • A box and label will be sent to the Motion customer.
  • All asset tags will be removed and destroyed.
  • All data will be sanitized from hard drives in accordance with DOD standards.
  • Systems that are functional and complete will be resold and reused.
  • Nonfunctional systems and parts will be properly recycled in an environmentally safe manner in accordance with the company’s “Zero Landfill” policy.
