Hardware and Software Designed to Work Together
Are your nurses tired of the ‘tool belt’ full of various point solution clinical devices? Or perhaps your IT team reels at managing XP and CE operating systems?
McKesson Applications are designed for the Motion C5 and are capable of supporting most mobile point-of-care clinical applications with one device. Your clinician may be empowered with the right applications to have patient information, medication interaction lookups and lab detail viewed by one device. A convergence of technologies allows you to do everything you normally do such as administer medication, record clinical notes and even take pictures using a single device. Motion worked closely with Intel Corporation to design the C5 based on Intel’s ethnographic research, hospital workflow studies and thousands of conversations with clinicians worldwide. With Intel® Centrino® technology and integrated high-speed wireless connectivity, the Motion C5 integrates key functions that clinicians require to be productive during the course of the day. McKesson has certified over 20 clinical applications on the Motion C5. |
