Issue / Question

 

When using the hardtop keyboard with M series tablet, the keyboard no longer responds to input. The mouse stills works, and after a reboot, the keyboard works again.

 

Solution / Answer

This is cause by Windows attempting to conserve power.  Please complete the following steps to resolve this issue:

 

1.    Right click on My Computer

2.    Click Properties

3.    Open Device Manager from the Hardware tab

4.    Expand the Human interface Devices Tab

5.    Right click on SH1102 USB Keyboard as seen below and select properties
