About the Audio Playback Enhancement Applet
The Audio Playback Enhancement applet provides three user-selectable audio equalization settings:

	Voice Optimized:	Provides equalization to optimize the playback for spoken-word audio sources,
				such as training videos, etc. 

	Multimedia Optimized:	Provides general-purpose equalization to enhance the overall audio playback experience 

	Normal: 		Returns the audio playback system to a “flat” condition. Most users would want to use 
				this setting when listening through high-quality headphones or external (amplified) speakers 


Using the applet to adjust the M1200’s audio characteristics, 
	- Select "Start"
	- Select “All Programs”,
	- Select “SigmaTel” 
	- Select “Audio Playback Enhancement”
	  This will open the “Audio Playback Enhancement” applet
	- Select the desired setting (described above)
	- The selected setting will take effect immediately and will remain in effect
	  until a different setting is selected in the applet



Motion Computing recommends that you backup your current working configuration before installing this update. 

Steps to Install:

	1.	Select the Sigmatel 6.14.1.3767 Link
	2.	Double-click the Sigmatel_6-14-01-3767 file.
	3.	Follow the Install Shield prompts to complete the installation.
