Added update for Intel® Core™2 Duo L7400 1.50GHz CPU microcode. · Added support for Intel® Core™2 Duo U7500 1.06GHz. ·
Resolved a boot issue,
which was caused by simultaneously pressing F2 and the power button during
POST. ·
Corrected an issue related
to BIOS Setup hard disk drive (HDD) model number display. ·
Resolved an issue related to
a slow POST when the HDD password is enabled. ·
Addressed an issue related
to maintaining the current HDD password when updating the BIOS. ·
Resolved an issue related
to detecting the solid state drive (SSD) after setting the SSD password. ·
Addressed an issue related
to maintaining the WWAN device status when updating the BIOS. |

Known Issues and Limitations |

·
PXE
boot (network-based boot) cannot be disabled in BIOS. ·
Windows Vista ignores
Critical Battery settings stored in BIOS. This is an issue with Windows Vista. |

Installation and Configuration Instructions |
|
|
To install the LE1700 A16/B16 BIOS update: 1.
Download
the BIOS AB16 file (LE1700_BIOS_AB16.zip) and save it to a directory of
your choice. 2.
Unzip
the file to a location on your local drive. 3.
Double-click on “Motion LE1700 BIOS AB16.exe” and follow the prompts. Note that
AC power must be plugged in. 4.
The update process may take some time. Please
do not manually power off the tablet. 5.
The tablet will automatically shut down after installing the BIOS. |
