    * Tablet Edition 2005 is included with the free Service Pack 2 download.  If you have installed Windows XP Service Pack 2 on a tablet PC you now have Tablet Edition 2005


     

Overview

BIOS A12 adjusts the available graphics memory to meet Vista requirements set by Microsoft.

 
What's New In This Release

Features Added:

 

Changed the available graphics memory in XP and Vista based on system configuration ( Vista requirement).  Larger RAM configurations result in a greater amount of graphics memory available to the system. 

 

 
Known Issues and Limitations

BIOS A12 is not compatible with the LE1600TC (Thin Client). Thin Client Tablets use a Solid State Drive with a size of 512MB and 1GB in lieu of a normal Hard Drive (30GB/60GB in size). If you are unsure if your unit is a LE1600TC please contact support before attempting to install this BIOS.

 
Installation and Configuration Instructions

To install the A12 BIOS update, do the following:

 

Download the BIOS A12 file (LE1600A12A.zip) to the directory location of your choice.  Unzip the file to a location on your local drive.  From within the unzipped directory run the .exe file to install the BIOS upgrade.
