·         Windows XP Tablet Edition 2005*, Version 2002, Service Pack 2 or Service Pack 3 - Installed.

·         Windows Vista, all versions except Windows Vista Home Basic.

 

* Tablet Edition 2005 is included with the free Service Pack 2 download.  If you installed Windows XP Service Pack 2 on a Tablet PC, you now have Tablet Edition 2005.

Fixes in this Release

·         Fix a SATA drive issue with AHCI storage driver in Windows XP on J3400.

·         Fix a potential system deadlock hang between DataGuard and the Motion Button Driver.

Known Issues and Limitations

If DataGuard version 1.x is not replaced with DataGuard version 3.x prior to rebooting, a stop error on a blue screen will occur. This issue is fixed by the installer and will not occur when DataGuard version 3.x is installed.

Installation and Configuration Instructions

Notes:

  • For this new version of DataGuard, the required minimum version of Motion Dashboard is 5.0.2.2.
  • Before installing this new version DataGuard, you must completely uninstall any previous version of DataGuard.

 

To install DataGuard 3.0.1.0, perform the following steps:

 

  1. Download the DataGuard 3.0.1.0 (Motion_DataGuard_v3010.zip) to the directory location of your choice. 
  2. Unzip the file to a location on your local drive. Double-click on the installer and follow the prompts.
