Fixes in this Release

·         If MotionCM is exited while a broadband connection is active, a prompt is shown warning that a connection is active and requesting user confirmation to close the connection before exiting.

What's New In This Release

·         The MotionCM application is now represented by an icon in the system tray.   Clicking on this icon will display a context menu for selecting commands.  Hovering the mouse cursor over this icon will display information about the device, the connection and the GPS status.  The system tray icon itself is an animated icon that represents the signal strength (RSSI) of the active WWAN signal.

·         Clicking the Close Button (the "X" in the upper-right corner) will hide the application except for the system tray icon.  To completely close the application, select "Exit" from the system tray menu.

·         MotionCM now supports receiving SMS messages when the profile is any UMTS/GSM profile (at this time SMS is not supported on CDMA profiles).  A button has been added to the Connect page that will display the SMS dialog, which will show any stored or received messages.

·         Several option check boxes have been added to the MotionCM user interface to control application behavior.  These include:

1.      Connect on program start

2.      Reconnect after Resume

3.      Minimize after connect

4.      Minimize when program starts

5.      Start GPS on program start

6.      Restart GPS after resume from Sleep or Hibernate

7.      Minimize after GPS start

These settings are stored in the registry on a per-user basis and are recalled whenever the application is started.

·         The currently-active profile is now displayed on the Connect page.

·         The graphic on the Connect tab button has been changed to be more consistent with the graphic used in Dashboard.

·         Support added for CDMA carriers.

·         Support added for automatic activation of CDMA carrier profiles (currently only Verizon).

Known Issues and Limitations

·         Arrow keys used in profile list do not populate profile information

·         Not prompted to Apply firmware changes made to Active profile

·         Up to 1 minute delay on resume from power save modes before modem is initialized and ready (attempts to connect during delay will result in error message)

·         SMS messaging does not work correctly for some European T-Mobile carriers.

·         Serial number information, including ESN, MEID and IMEI are not displayed for some carriers.

·         SMS is not supported for CDMA profiles.

·         It is possible to open multiple instances of the SMS management window by clicking the "SMS" button on the Connection page multiple times.  Each of the windows is functional.
