Motion Computing Establishes Tablet PC Reseller Network


Value-Added Resellers Across North America Focusing On Solutions for Vertical Markets Such As Healthcare, Pharmaceuticals, Financial Services, Legal, Field Sales, Government



AUSTIN, Texas, Nov. 18, 2002 - Motion Computing, an innovator in ultra-mobile computing and wireless communications, today announced it has signed partner agreements with 21 value-added resellers (VARs) in the U.S. and Canada. The network gives the company broad and immediate access to a distribution channel long relied on by computing customers in markets such as healthcare, pharmaceuticals, financial services, legal, field sales and government.

Motion's certified partner network - which is scheduled to expand to about 50 resellers in the first quarter of 2003 - currently has a robust combination of cross-industry expertise and geographic coverage, and already includes most of the largest tablet computing VARs.

Partners include: Advanced Technical Support, West Hartford, Conn.; Currie, Peak & Frasier, Orlando, Fla; EMS Wireless, Norcross, Ga; Filbitron, Markham, Ontario, Canada; InfoLogix, Bensalem, Pa; Mobility Concepts, Napierville, Ill; Pharmedica, Killingworth, Conn; and Quincy Systems, Georgetown, Texas.
