AUSTIN, Texas, Sept 13, 2005> – Pechanga Resort & Casino, a AAA four-diamond property in Southern California, has deployed 200 Motion Computing® tablet PCs for gaming table management, player tracking and employee training.
The Motion tablet PCs are located on 155 of Pechanga’s gaming tables, running Progressive Gaming International Corporation’s (NASDAQ:PGIC) table management system, TableLink®. With the TableLink application, Pechanga tracks player activity at every table. TableLink automatically and accurately updates player data collected via the Motion tablet – including player numbers, average bets, table limits and the amount of time played.
Pechanga also has placed Motion tablets in its employee training room, which is a replica of the casino’s gaming floor. In training, new dealers learn how to deal at Pechanga and how to use its player tracking system.
