AUSTIN, Texas, Feb. 2, 2004 – Citing the operating efficiencies of an advantaged business model, Motion Computing® today reduced prices to give its award-winning Motion M1300 Tablet PC line a list price advantage over all major slate tablet PC competitors.
Effective immediately, an M1300 Tablet PC bundle with Intel® Centrino™ mobile technology running at 1GHz, a 20GB hard drive and 256MB of memory is reduced from $1,999 to $1,899. A similarly configured M1300 Tablet PC based on an ultra low-voltage 800MHz Mobile Intel Celeron® processor is reduced from $1,699 to $1,599.

According to Motion CEO Scott Eckert, the industry-leading prices are the result of efficiencies unique to the company's agile, low-cost business model.
