RuggedPCreview.com - Motion F5v Review 2010(Conrad H. Blickenstorfer, June-2010)Motion Computing provides a major performance increase and a wealth of productivity-boosting enhancements to its innovative rugged Motion F5 tablet. The 2010 version of Motion Computing's F5 "field tool" has received a major, and I mean MAJOR, power boost thanks to a switch to one of Intel's new Core i7 processors. The performance difference is massive and readily noticeable in almost every aspect. Our benchmarks show an overall 2.2x improvement over the predecessor model. Most amazingly, even with this the much more powerful processor and the same size battery, battery life has improved, rather than gone down. Read Full Review |

RuggedPCreview.com - Motion F5 Review(Conrad H. Blickenstorfer, August-08-2008)Motion's innovative rugged "Field Tool": The F5 is a Tablet PC made by what has probably become the foremost designer and manufacturer of slate computers. That's what Motion Computing does, and nothing else. Motion designed the C5/F5 platform with three goals in mind. First, to create a device specifically tailored to the needs of certain vertical markets as opposed to simply design another ubiquitous slate computer. Second, to come up with something that would truly improve the productivity of workers in the field. And third, to make the device secure. Read Full Review |

GCN - Government Computer News - Lab Review of Motion F5(Michelle S. Gottabemobile - Motion F5 Video Review(Rob Bushway)I've been fortunate enough to use the F5 the past two weeks, and have thoroughly enjoyed it. Weighing in at 3 lbs 9 oz, it is well balanced and quite comfortable to hold in various positions. I have not enjoyed using a pure slate, including the TC1100, as much as I've enjoyed the F5.
